About Rebels vs Empire
Rebels vs Empire is a free, unofficial fan-themed single-player strategy game. Command the Rebels (X) against the computer-controlled Empire (O).
How to play
- Choose a difficulty and tap an empty square.
- Rebels always moves first.
- Make three matching symbols in a row, column, or diagonal to win.
- If all nine spaces fill without a winner, the round is a draw.
Difficulty modes
- Easy: The computer selects random available squares.
- Medium: The computer plays optimally about 60% of the time and randomly otherwise.
- Hard: The computer uses minimax to make optimal moves. A perfect opponent cannot be beaten.
Privacy
Scores are stored only in your browser using localStorage. No accounts, trackers, or network requests are required. Reset Scores clears your saved results.
